VIP Shop Management: Ordering Parts Using RepairLink Shop

VIP Shop Management allows you to interface directly with RepairLink Shop to order parts while creating a work order. Note: You must have a RepairLink Shop account to use this workflow. 

To order parts:

  1. From a new estimate, click the plus (7461_vip2.jpg) sign.
  2. Click the RepairLink option from the window that displays.
  3. The first time you connect VIP Shop Management to RepairLink, the Authorize Account window will display.
    1. Enter your RepairLink Shop Username and Password in the provided fields. 
    2. Select VIP Shop Management System from the Application drop-down. 
    3. Click Authorize App.
  4. RepairLink Shop will open within a frame in VIP Shop Management System with the vehicle details (VIN or Year/Make/Model) populated.
  5. Search for the parts you need
  6. Type the quantity you want in the Qty Req field. 
  7. Click Add To Cart. A success message will temporarily display at the top of the RepairLink window to confirm the part has been added. Repeat steps 5-7 to add additional parts to the cart.
  8. Once all parts have been added, click Transfer Cart at the bottom of the window. 
  9. The parts added in RepairLink will transfer over to the estimate in VIP Shop Management.
  10. Once the estimate is complete, click Place Order
  11. A new window will display, click Place Order
